Why we built Truuly
Overview

Every week we ship faster with AI, yet the writing still reads like a machine: stiff cadences, repeated phrases, and flags from enterprise detectors that slow reviews to a crawl. We built Truuly to close that gapmaking AI-generated text sound human, stay on-voice, and clear compliance checks without teams rewriting everything by hand.

The problem we hit first

Product briefs, onboarding flows, and support macros produced by LLMs were efficient to draft, but they triggered plagiarism and AI-detection tools used by our customers. The copy was also brittle: small prompt tweaks created big tone shifts, and editors spent more time humanizing than building features.

How Truuly works

  • Human-sounding rewrite layer: We ingest any AI draft and re-render it with natural pacing, varied structure, and contextual synonyms that read like a personnot a prompt.
  • Detector-aware tuning: We continuously test against academic, LMS, and enterprise filters so rewrites maintain intent while reducing false positives.
  • Guardrails for compliance: Structured metadata keeps phrasing within brand and regulatory boundaries, and reviewers can lock critical sentences so meaning never drifts.

Principles behind the product

  1. Preserve intent first. Our rewrite engine protects facts, commitments, and constraints before polishing style. 2) Be transparent. Editors can diff AI input vs. Truuly output, with confidence scoring baked in. 3) Stay adaptable. Themes and tones map to your design system tokens, so UI copy, docs, and outbound emails stay consistent across dark/light variants and surfaces.

What this means for teams

Marketing, success, and ops teams now ship copy that sounds like them, not their model. Engineers embed Truuly directly in dashboards and billing flows, using our Supabase-authenticated components and shadcn-based UI to keep the experience cohesive.

Whats next

Were expanding detector coverage, adding red-team style stress tests, and exposing more controls for regulated teams that need traceability. If you want to trial Truuly or co-design features for your workflow, reach outwed love to make AI output feel as trustworthy as the humans behind it.
